Job Description We are looking for an entrepreneurial and self-directed performance marketing director, who will be leading all aspects of inbound and outbound marketing, with a focus on growth initiatives.
This role will report into the CEO and requires an individual who can operate within both strategic and tactical functions owning: market research, user research, content marketing, PR and communications. You should be a highly creative and data-driven leader as well as an excellent communicator with a passion and history in D2C, real estate, or crypto.
Responsibilities Design and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to launch our decentralized platform in the United States, with an emphasis on core DMAs Develop and execute the vision and strategy to achieve Bonfire’s business targets through customer-focused and data-driven marketing campaigns across all performance channels, including search, display, social, video, sponsored content, affiliate, and others Partner with your peers in Product Management and Community Management to drive adoption, engagement and revenues Create and direct market, competitive and user research Drive and optimize our SEO strategy to reach the most relevant audience at the best time to grow our audience
Requirements 5+ years of experience in senior marketing role in D2C, real estate, and/or crypto Experience guiding marketing in an early stage start-up, from pilot tests all the way to public launch and scaling History of launching successful campaigns using components of guerrilla, grassroots, and viral marketing Experience building reporting dashboards and KPIs You have excellent spoken and written communication skills, allowing you to deliver complex information clearly to your colleagues and through marketing material Demonstrated effective leadership - people management experience is important. The Details At first, the role will be part-time (e.g. you can keep your day job) and will be expected to provide 10-15 hours per week. As such, compensation will initially be comprised of significant amount of equity and tokens followed by market-rate salary with full benefits after we have completed our capital raise later this year. We are a remote-first company with quarterly in-person off-sites.
