SCOPE OF THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity in which the successful candidate will work in the IT department of B2C2, investigating business needs and crafting solutions to them using AI toolkits.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and drive the vision and strategy for AI-powered solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities where AI can add value.
  • Design, develop and deploy proprietary AI applications.
  • Evaluation and oversight of the use of off-the-shelf AI applications.
  • Building and leading a small team of developers (1 to 3).

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Product ownership mentality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A problem solver with a keen eye for detail.
  • Fundamental understanding of foundational LLM models, RAG, embeddings, vector databases.
  • Extensive experience coding AI solutions with AWS (Bedrock, OpenSearch), experience building RAG.
  • Familiarity with open-source tools like LangChain, Langfuse, CrewAI is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience integrating with 3rd party services (Google Drive, Slack, AWS, Salesforce).
  • Postgres database and Redis experience.
  • A self starter - able to take and own a problem and, by seeking assistance where needed, follow it through to resolution.
