Blockchain Lead

• Work with teams and to achieve product update milestones within the set time frames
• Evaluate scalability, security, performance, and gas optimization of the decentralized application
• Responsible for blockchain nodes development, security/audit, testing, deployments, releases, and upgrades
• Working with security team for audits of new development and changes
• Manage governance-related efforts including developments, governance app, and operations
• Work with the governance team to implement new proposals. Communicate with the community on related changes and rollout plans
• Making security a top priority and carefully analyzing code changes for potential vulnerabilities
• Work with existing teams to further optimise, and debug potential problems
• Work with smart-contract and blockchain node teams to co-ordinate releases and changes
• Work with researchers to find optimal solutions to challenging problems

Requirements

• Experience in managing a team of engineers for at least 2+ years.
• Must have experience in Geth (Go Ethereum) or equivalent blockchain nodes, p2p, and Golang
• Deep understanding of Blockchain, Solidity, Assembly, and the EVM
• Knowledge of Rust, Javascript, Typescript or Node.js is a plus
• Experience in managing remote teams
• Active member of the dev community will be a plus (e.g. experience contributing to EIPs)
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
• Demonstrated contributions to open source code bases a plus
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; working proficiency in English (written and spoken) to work with team
• Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
• Willingness to learn new languages, frameworks, and technologies
