Grayscale is a crypto-focused asset manager. We have over a decade of operational experience managing crypto funds and pioneered the model of offering exposure to cryptocurrencies in the form of a security. We’re proud of our crypto expertise and work closely with individual and institutional investors as they explore this asset class as part of their portfolio allocation. Position Summary: Grayscale is hiring a Contract Recruiter to support hiring and recruiting operations during a period of active growth. This role is ideal for a recruiter who excels in sourcing, candidate coordination, and delivering consistently exceptional candidate experiences. You'll work closely with the People Team and internal stakeholders to drive hiring outcomes across multiple functions, with a strong focus on execution, organization, and brand representation. Experience in asset management, investment management, or similarly high-performing financial services environments is strongly preferred. This is a 3-6 month contract role. Responsibilities:
Own and support day-to-day recruiting process: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and advancing candidates through each stage. Provide white-glove candidate experience from first outreach through final decision, ensuring professionalism, clarity, and consistency in every interaction. Handle interview scheduling, candidate communications, and recruiting logistics with speed and accuracy. Maintain clean and up-to-date candidate records in Greenhouse. Interface with the People Team and Hiring Managers, playing a core role in enabling recruiting. Partner with People Team to support closing conversations, ensure smooth handoffs, and on-boarding new hires, as needed. Help reflect and reinforce Grayscale’s brand, standards, and values throughout the hiring process.
Prior Experience/Requirements:
5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in asset management, investment management, or similarly high-performing financial services. Demonstrated experience supporting multiple searches and filling roles across different functions. Known for delivering exceptional candidate experiences (professional, warm, and reliable). Confident managing recruiting operations, including but not limited to scheduling, follow-ups, documentation. Strong sourcing abilities using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to find and engage talent. Experience and proficiency with Greenhouse, LinkedIn, and other recruiting tools. Highly organized, responsive, and motivated by delivering outcomes, not just activity. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
