Mobile Platform Engineering Team at Flipster
At Flipster, our Mobile Platform Engineering Team is dedicated to optimizing performance and enhancing the stability of our mobile applications. We focus on delivering a seamless and efficient user experience, particularly in critical areas like chart performance, which plays a key role in our trading platform.

Beyond performance improvements, we establish engineering metrics on the client side to drive data-informed decision-making and problem-solving. Our ultimate goal is to continuously enhance the quality of our mobile products.

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Platform Engineer to join us in tackling complex technical challenges and elevating Flipster’s mobile platform to the next level.

Location: This is a globally remote role. Singapore relocation available.

Responsibilities

    • Analyze and optimize performance and platform requirements on the client side.
    • Lead projects aimed at enhancing the performance of charting functionalities, a critical component of our trading platform.
    • Define and implement mobile engineering metrics to inform decision-making and problem resolution.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and establish best practices.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

    • 7+ years of iOS development experience.
    • Strong proficiency in Swift and related iOS development technologies.
    • Proven track record in mobile performance optimization and stability improvements.
    • Experience leading end-to-end development of features and applications based on complex business requirements.
    • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with multiple teams to solve problems.

Preferred

    • Experience with SwiftUI development.
    • Full-stack development experience (iOS + Android, Web, or Backend).
    • Prior experience working on a Mobile Platform Team, leveraging deep knowledge of mobile tech stacks.
    • Passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
    • Professional working proficiency in Korean (written and spoken).
