We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to grow strategic relationships, build partnerships with leading Web3 companies, and drive revenue through our research reports, advertising, and bespoke content offerings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy to grow commercial partnerships across crypto, fintech, and institutional clients
• Identify and engage potential clients for sponsorship of DL News Research country reports, custom research, and branded content
• Lead the end-to-end sales cycle — from prospecting and pitching to negotiating contracts and managing relationships
• Collaborate with editorial and research teams to tailor offerings that align with client objectives while maintaining editorial integrity
• Maintain a structured pipeline using CRM tools, and regularly report on deal flow, progress, and projections
• Represent DL News Research at crypto and fintech events (online and in-person), positioning the brand as a thought leader in the space
• Stay informed on digital asset market trends to anticipate client needs and identify new business opportunities

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales — ideally in media, crypto, fintech, or research
• Strong network within the Web3 or digital finance industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Comfortable with targets, KPIs, and revenue accountability
• Interest in crypto, DeFi, and the evolving regulatory landscape
• Experience with conducting business on Telegram/X preferred

Nice to Have

• Prior experience selling research, media sponsorships, or data/analytics products
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and onchain analytics platforms
• Willing to travel occasionally for events and meetings
