Figment is hiring a Web3 Developer Relations Lead
Compensation: $63k - $100k estimated
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Figment Learn is a Web 3 education platform for developers. Our goal is to help developers onboard on blockchain protocols and accelerate the adoption of those technologies. We build courses and aggregate community written tutorials. https://learn.figment.io/
We’re looking for a DevRel to join our team and help us nurture our relationship with the community of developers getting into Web 3. This is more of a marketing/advocacy DevRel role than a community management/support one.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Be the public interface between developers and Figment while building a personal brand
- Build a strategy to generate awareness around Figment developer products
- Produce educational content and technical writing to help developers onboard (Twitter, video series, newsletter, etc)
- Speak and demo products at events and meetups
- Keep the finger on the pulse on what is going on in the Web 3 ecosystem
About you:
- Confident developer who can learn new things quickly - no need to be an experienced senior developer.
- Great understanding of the overall developer landscape of Web 3
- Hands on experience with Web 3 and blockchain: involvement in DAOs, built some dApps, etc
- Extraordinary interpersonal skills. Oral and written communication clarity.
- Enthusiastic, full of ideas and autonomous
- Experience with memes won’t hurt.
