Web3 Developer Relations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a concise knowledge base and maintain the technical communication with developers building on top of Nillion
• Passionate in working with partners and founding entrepreneurs to help them integrate the code that will bring their Nillon-enabled products to life
• Represent the needs and expectations of developers throughout Nillion’s product development process, and create new developer engagement initiatives to drive developer success and adoption
• Capable of establishing reliability and autonomy in creating/updating immersive multimedia content, and workshops, hackathons, while being proficient in bringing native and partner co-marketed events to fruition.
• Work alongside Nillion’s engineers to write and enhance developer technical documentation (e.g. SDK docs), technical articles, developer guides (FAQs), tutorials, demos and other reference materials
• Be an active voice, with a web3 network to match, that educates, evangelizes and expands the knowledge base to new developer communities with regards to Nillion, NMC and the Nillion Network
• Having a technical leadership presence on the Nillion developer twitter account and Discord dev channels
• Publish thought leadership content on Nillion channels (e.g. medium, twitter, discord, etc.)
• Speak at industry events including organizing, presenting and leading developer events (talks, conferences, meetups, hackathons, workshops, training, and other education channels)
• Work directly with the product team to drive growth in the Nillion ecosystem, from converting patterns observed in the ecosystem into prioritized development work to helping to shape the go-to-market strategy of new products, especially for the developer audience
• Be an advisor and liaison to Marketing, Product and Ecosystem, as well as other non-engineering functions

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Experience, or Technical Advocacy
• Demonstrated experience in the blockchain and Web3 ecosystems with a holistic understanding of the ecosystems
• Strong engineering skills with exposure to Rust, Python Solidity, JavaScript, or a keen interest in learning new languages
• You have obtained a strong presence on crypto/web3 Twitter
• Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and concepts
• You are a great speaker and comfortable in front of an audience in person or online.
• You have a passion for inspiring and educating fellow developers
• You have a strong sense of ownership, with the ability to lead and share knowledge as well as the keenness to learn
• An analytical and data-driven approach to building and nurturing developer communities, with demonstrated experience in improving developer experience, documentation, and tools
• Ability to articulate views or disagreements in a respectful and clear manner, while advocating for a specific view or position
