Securitize is hiring a Web3 Director of Sales

We're looking for talented Director of Sales to join our growing sales team. You will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious revenue growth objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage his/her skills and ability to develop new relationships and close critical business transactions. Your primary role will be to source, develop and close new business opportunities with companies looking to do Reg A+ offerings. Ideally you love consumer brands and have a strong network of companies you can work with to help them bring a community funding initiative to market. We seek passionate individuals that are mission driven and that have a proven track record of high performance, especially in a fast-paced environment.
Role Description:
- Identify new potential customers who have large communities of users and want to turn them into shareholders like WINC, Exodus and Brewdog have done.
- You are able to run the end-to-end sales process and can pull together multiple team across investment banking, structuring and distribution of the deal.
Work with our sales and marketing team to define and execute new sales strategies that expand our outreach. - Continuously engage in and monitor sales efforts to prospect, engage, and close new potential investors.
- Become a specialist in Securitize Markets products and stay apprised of industry trends.
- Work closely with the operations, marketing, product, research, and compliance teams.
- Proactively communicate insights and key metrics for measuring impact of sales tactics and quality of message on a continuous basis
- Responsible for developing and implementing successful sales practices and strategy that will foster revenue expansion and professional growth of the sales team.
- Understand and be able to explain core products and services as necessary to review pipeline feeds, and track product opportunities.
Candidate qualifications:
- 5-7 years of client-facing experience as a strategic and analytical thinker abstracting complex ideas into clear frameworks.
- Prefer to have crypto-fintech experience.
- Must have CRM/Pipedrive experience.
- Must have excellent sales skills and in-depth product and broad investment knowledge.
- Ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to close business.
- End-to-end negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing complex transactions.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for both virtual and in-person meetings with a range of stakeholders.
- Passion for proactively analyzing the business, uncovering trends and shifts in the market, and prospecting emerging channels.
- Strong understanding of the fintech and digital banking ecosystem
- Ability to work independently with a results-oriented approach and a bias toward action.
- Experience with utilizing a client management system, and other internal management systems/policies.
- Ambitious mindset to work towards FINRA licensing (not required, but there’s opportunity for career advancement!)
