About the Role
Figure is looking for an innovative, passionate Director of Talent to help scale Figure to new heights. The Talent team at Figure is evolving to not only source and hire the most innovative, top tier talent in Fintech, but also support those employees through the employee lifecycle with creative, and forward thinking programs. Through a strong sense of partnership and collaboration, this key leadership role will have a deep and lasting impact on the creation of a high performing global team across multiple business units and a new work from anywhere people strategy through acting as a constant champion of Figure, its people, its missions and its values.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a recruiting advisor and partner to the Executive Team and be a critical driver of recruiting excellence across the organization
- Optimize and execute against the global talent acquisition strategy in hyper growth and scaling mode
- Enhance alignment with Executives, Business Unit leaders and People Operations to optimize workforce planning based on the most acute needs of the business
- Manage and empower a high-performing team of recruiters, sourcers, and hiring coordinators to the next level in attracting and hiring the best talent
- Optimize our metrics-based approach and Talents KPIs to ensure that our goals are achieved on time, within budget and with quality; Report to the Executive team on Recruiting Results
- Lead and inspire the TA team that is responsible for hiring across the organization; handle escalated issues on unique candidate situations
- Be a player / coach overseeing a hands on, full cycle req load of senior level, high priority roles; Provide an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach to on-boarding
- Oversee efforts to strengthen talent strategy with an acute focus on the talent acquisition process
- Lead and drive the strategy for Employer Branding and Recruiting Marketing managing and identifying partnerships and memberships, sites and tools
- Design, implement and scale best in class processes, tools, systems and training necessary to scale and support a world-class team
- Partner with the Director of Compensation to build attractive bands so we can hire and retain the top talent in various markets including Fintech, Engineering and mortgage
- Develop team members through mentorship and guidance on performance with continuous feedback as well as quarterly reviews
- Develop and deliver a variety of trainings across the organization
- Continuously look for Recruiting Workflow Optimization and process improvements; remaining up to speed on best practices and the competitive landscape
- Maintain and oversee the Talent budget driving efficiency and effectiveness with tools and resources; continuously look to use the best in class, creative approaches that save time and money on recruiting efficiencies
- Keep a pulse on the employee experience by building and delivering employee surveys in partnership with the People Operations team
- Partner with Capital Markets, Compliance, and IT Security for audit and due diligence requests as needed
- Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings
- Develop and lead Figure’s sourcing strategies across all department and business units
- Manage our external partnerships with ATS software vendors, job boards, sourcing platforms, and external talent pool sources
- Prepare and review our annual talent acquisition budget
- Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication)
- In coordination with HRBPs and business unit leaders forecast hiring needs based on business growth plans
- Manage, train and evaluate Figure’s Talent Acquisition Team
- Oversee the development a network of potential future hires (e.g. past applicants and referred candidates)
- Establish and manage measurement and reporting of key recruitment metrics (like pipeline dashboard, source of hire, and time-to-hire
