SO YOU WANT TO JOIN CANDY?

We are looking for an analytically focused eCommerce Business Analyst to join the Operations department. In this role, you will be accountable for examining, researching, and collaborating with product owners and documenting all enhancements and processes related to developing and enhancing a direct-to-consumer eCommerce experience. You will be the owner of providing digital and operational analysis utilized for direct decisions related to our site.

AS OUR MOST VALUABLE PLAYER, YOU WILL...

  • Assist Product Managers (PM's) in defining and prioritizing a well-defined roadmap for digital commerce sites with internal partners.
  • Assist PM's in delivering product enhancements as defined by the Product Manager’s Roadmap.
  • Accountable for defining the release process and coordinating all activities to help build the product/site.
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document examination, requirement workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business evaluation, task and workflow examination.
  • Business Problem analysis, requirement analysis, consulting with the business.
  • Develop user stories, technical requirements, process flow diagram and relationship diagrams such as flow charts.
  • Accountable for ensuring user stories are tested, completed, and deployed.
  • During feature definition, help define success metrics and design event-based analytics implementation by working with the development team. Post launch, evaluate the feature using these analytics and collaborate with PM's to advise subsequent feature iterations.
  • Collaborate with product manager and technical heads in maintaining plan integration and ensuring the overall achievement of product objectives.
  • Test the quality of sites and write test plans for external testers.
  • Coordinate user tests, propose recommendations for improvement and seek validation with our partners while identifying bugs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure site experience and design is consistent with the brand and legal requirements.





WHO ARE YOU

  • 2+ years in IT Business Analyst or Product Owner role with experience with Digital Commerce platforms.
  • A functional comprehension of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.
  • Clear, concise and user-friendly interpersonal skills to easily transmit your ideas to any audience.
  • Strong organization skills and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work on numerous assignments at one time with proven follow-through, attention to detail and devotion to business partnership.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity - in business requirements, technology options and product / site direction.
  • Experience in Google Analytics (or similar) and knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence, and/or Trello).
  • Experience with web development / architecture.
  • Leveraging User Centric Design and applying User Experience concepts.
  • Experience in B2C technology a plus.
  • Straight forward problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • A growth mindset.
  • Previous financial services or start-up experience.
  • Ease at presenting your work and explaining design outcomes.
  • A love of sports, collectibles, blockchain & crypto, and/or collectibles!

Total Compensation Range (Base + Equity): 100k-115k per year

Our compensation package currently breaks down into a base salary and an equity component for all employees. The candidate’s seniority and the evaluations made of that candidate during the interview process determine compensation.
