Our client is looking for a strategic, creative candidate to join their fast-growing team as a Senior Product Designer. A natural problem-solver, you understand smart design processes and know how to translate insights into actionable solutions. You’re proudly passionate about the customer.

What you’ll do

• Trust the process: Step into a methodical design process anchored in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling releases.

• Strategize & problem-solve

• Balance customer needs with GD business goals, market viability, and technical feasibility.

• Translate customer insights into concepts, user journeys, storyboards, system maps, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma, Adobe CS, and other design tools.

• Incorporate user research and usability testing to integrate into product solutions.

• Create

• Design UX/UI with a conversion-optimization-focused mindset.

• Produce UX/UI documentation for website and conversion flows, including sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes.

• Collaborate

• Effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including product managers, engineers, marketers, and executive leadership.

• Partner with engineers to ensure designs are properly implemented.

What you bring to the table

• Experience: 5+ years of design experience with a portfolio of successful case studies.

• Strategic Creativity

• Proven experience delivering strategies, concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and more.

• You understand and use throughout your work design thinking process requirements, including the typical time and resources needed to produce quality work.

• Design fluency

• You bring an eye for detail and a great sense of aesthetics and functionality.

• You have experience working with a design system and a firm understanding of the digital product lifecycle.

• Experience working on/ability and high interest in UX/UI research and strategy.

• You’re comfortable with development processes and tools. You have a working knowledge of Figma and Adobe CS, as well as familiarity with basic HTML/CSS, React, APIs, etc.

• Clear communication & successful collaboration

• A strong communicator, you can articulately express and present the rationale behind design decisions in a purposeful and thoughtful way.

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to drive win-win solutions and generate new impactful ideas.

• Data-driven growth mindset

• You’re fluent in analytics, usability tests, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative feedback that inform creative processes. You are always learning new ways of improving the product and optimizing your craft.

• Flexibility

• You’re nimble, iterating quickly with a lean methodology approach as new ideas emerge and priorities shift to meet the needs of the project.

• You can excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice to have (but not dealbreakers)

• Experience (and excitement) in iconography is a bonus.

• Insurance and/or healthcare industry experience is a plus.

• Experience working in a startup environment is preferred.
