Web3 Head Of Talent

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Talent to pioneer our talent acquisition strategy and operations. This critical role calls for a strategic thinker dedicated to fueling organizational growth through effective talent management. Reporting directly to our HR Leader, you will collaborate closely in implementing and operationalizing organizational strategy. Your initial mandate will be to architect a comprehensive talent strategy that aligns with our business objectives, foster an inclusive and diverse work culture, and amplify our employer brand. As a starting point, the incumbent will lay a strong foundation for each of these areas and will progressively refine them over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with our business objectives
• Build robust relationships with stakeholders across the organization to understand their talent needs and objectives
• Lead employer branding initiatives, positioning our organization as an employer of choice in the tech industry
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all talent acquisition efforts, constructing strategies to attract, hire, and retain a diverse workforce
• Oversee recruitment operations, including process design, budgeting, and technology solutions, with an initial focus on building foundational structures
• Work closely with the HR Leader and the Senior Recruiter to ensure an exceptional candidate experience and seamless alignment with organizational strategies
• Set vision and provide strategic direction for talent acquisition across the organization

Your Goals are to:

• Understanding the organization's goals, product/service roadmap, and expansion plans to help guide the hiring strategy.
• Identify the key roles and skills needed now and in the future. Plan for the timing and sequence of these hires. Resourcing TA to support hiring needs in a thoughtful, sustainable way.
• Partner with the CEO, HR and Sr. Recruiter to design an employer branding strategy.
• Strategize around various talent sources. Developing a strategy for intern and college hires.
• Develop strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates and create an inclusive work culture.
• Partner with HR to ensue we have an attractive compensation and benefits package. 
• Partnering with HR to design and implement a well-structured onboarding process.
• Leveraging technology to help streamline the talent acquisition process.
• Partner with HR to ensure hiring processes comply with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in talent acquisition, particularly in strategic planning and operations
• Proven ability to devise and implement effective talent strategies
• Solid understanding of employer branding strategies and techniques
• Deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; experience in developing and executing DEI initiatives
• Exceptional leadership skills and proven experience in stakeholder management
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency with HR tech and recruitment tools, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Ability to navigate and lead change management efforts
