Web3 Tech Support Engineer (Node / API)

TON Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting the growth of the TON Blockchain and its ecosystem. Founded in Switzerland in 2023 and backed by a global community, the Foundation empowers developers, creators, and businesses through grants, technical resources, and strategic partnerships. TON is a decentralized, open-source network, independent of centralized control and open to contributions from all.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Tech Support Engineer to work closely with high-tier partners of the TON ecosystem, including developers, infrastructure teams, and system administrators. This role combines deep technical support, infrastructure troubleshooting, and close collaboration with core developers and documentation teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to partners and users within the TON ecosystem via ticketing systems, chat, and other communication channels

• Support integration and usage of TON HTTP APIs (TON Center API, TON API)

• Investigate and resolve issues with incorrect API requests and payloads

• Help partners select the most suitable API interfaces for specific use cases

• Explain best practices for transaction processing, swaps, analytics, and other key user scenarios

• Assist with building complex PostgreSQL queries

• Support API and infrastructure versioning during updates

• Analyze logs and troubleshoot TON node issues (Native C++ node, MyTonCtrl)

• Assist with node setup, configuration, and maintenance

• Support integration of staking protocols for CEXs and lending platforms

• Help less experienced users understand TON blockchain fundamentals

• Escalate issues to core developers with clear reproduction steps and context

• Participate in testing and validating fixes

Requirements

• Experience launching and maintaining infrastructure and HTTP services (nodes, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps)

• Hands-on experience with API-based integrations

• Strong troubleshooting and log analysis skills

• High level of responsibility and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to independently learn new technologies and products

Nice to Have

• Software development experience (backend, systems, or blockchain)

• Experience in technical support, developer support, or DevRel roles

• Experience with the @ton/ton JavaScript SDK

• Experience with the Java ton4j SDK

• Familiarity with Web3 fundamentals (wallets, transactions, smart contracts)
