Role: Investment Analyst
Role Mission: Raise Tier 1 VC C round to acquire IPO team, licenses, and grow to 500k MPU. Build finance function needed for IPO.

Our relative - the Coinbase exchange with 30 million accounts goes to Nasdaq with an estimate of $ 100 billion, 3 times more expensive than the Nasdaq itself, since we are the next generation financial system.

Functions:

• Data Room: Prepare investment materials with a model and financial statements.
  
• Network: Developing network of contacts among target VCs (cold calls personally and on behalf of CFO).
  
• Liaise: Assisting CFO to liaise with investment advisors, legal firms, accountants, administrators and tax advisors etc.
  
• Paperwork: Preparing papers for Board level and CEO.
  
• Ad-Hoc tasks: Assisting in the creation of presentations, tasks related to the adjacent business.
  
• Research: Research on fintech/DeFi - deals, pitchdecks, VCs, benchmarking.

Requirement skills and experience:

Ideally you have had experience across one of: investment banking, corporate finance, due diligence and valuations. An inherent interest in emerging and established global technology trends and developments (particular emphasis on the start-up ecosystem) with a good knowledge of key fintech and DeFi/blockchain players and trading/fintech business models would be helpful.
Having a genuine desire to want be part of a very dynamic, successful and growing company; having the natural aptitude to look at this job/ your career without set working hours – seeing the job and growth of the company as a large part of your life. You would be required to work very long hours, in a demanding, but rewarding work environment.

Financial modelling, Python, SQL queries and big data in general, research and analysis, CFA certification, MBA.
Having financial or accounting qualification such as CFA or CIMA would be advantageous.
