Mission statement
We are looking for a Junior FP&A Analyst to strengthen our financial reporting, cost discipline and overall control environment. In this newly created role, reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will support the monthly close, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintain robust reconciliations across cash, revenues and costs. You will also support product control activities such as PnL validation and variance investigations. Additionally, you will drive the mapping and allocation of financial data, challenge inputs from the business, and partner with commercial and operational teams to provide clear insights and support better decision-making in a fast-moving organisation.
Job Description
Core Financial and Product Control
Manage the monthly, quarterly and yearly close process for all entities.
Prepare management accounts, product-level PnL and internal reporting packs.
Perform reconciliations across fiat, crypto, revenues, trading volumes and fees.
Validate product-level revenues (PnL drivers, spreads, fees, funding, commissions).
Investigate and resolve PnL or position discrepancies with commercial and trading teams.
Maintain and improve internal controls around financial reporting and product data flows.
Revenue & Cost Management
Collect, validate and challenge revenue data from different business units.
Track, verify and analyse operating costs across departments.
Own the mapping and allocation of both revenues and costs to business units and cost centers.
Ensure accuracy of margins, profitability and cost attribution.
Business Partnering
Act as a finance partner to commercial and operational teams.
Provide clear financial insights, variance analysis and recommendations.
Support budget vs. actual tracking and forecast updates.
Improve financial transparency and discipline across the organisation.
Process & Systems Improvement
Streamline and automate finance processes and workflows.
Assist with tooling improvements (ERP, reporting, reconciliations).
Support ad-hoc financial analysis, deep dives and special projects.
Background and Experience
2–4 years of experience in accounting, audit, product and/or financial control or FP&A.
Strong understanding of core accounting principles; knowledge of Belgian GAAP is a plus.
Experience with monthly close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
Solid Excel / Sheets skills; experience with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP or similar).
Familiarity with crypto concepts (wallets, transactions, revenue types) is a plus.
Analytical mindset with the ability to challenge data and ensure accuracy.
Strong communication skills and readiness to partner with commercial and operational teams.
High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Based in either the UK or a European time zone.
