Web3 Lead Product Designer

As a Lead Designer at Wormhole Labs, you will help us imagine and build the future of cross-chain, consumer applications. Your role involves elevating crypto UX and designing industry-defining consumer products to be broadly accessible at massive scale. You will work closely with our product & engineering teams and ultimately define the design culture for the organization.

What you will do:

• Lead design projects from concept to launch, owning end-to-end user journeys while balancing craft with appropriate design fidelity.

• Translate complex blockchain concepts into simple, accessible user experiences.

• Partner with cross-functional partners to drive designs that balance customer experience with business outcomes.

• Establish and maintain cohesive design systems that ensure consistent experiences across all Wormhole Labs products.

• Champion design throughout the organization, presenting compelling visions that inspire teams and executives alike.

• Build and nurture design culture, establishing processes that elevate the quality of all products the team ships.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of product design experience with an exceptional portfolio of shipped work.

• Strong track record designing consumer products used by millions of users, either in crypto or traditional tech.

• Be crypto native and have pride in building products users love.

• Obsessed with craft and have sharp attention to detail in all aspects of design.

• Be high agency and affect the outcomes they wish to see.

• Expertise in Figma, industry best practices, and design systems.
