Web3 Principal Smart Contract Engineer (Off-chain infra, protocol design & bridging)

Stackr is seeking a Principal Smart Contract Engineer to lead the design and implementation of off-chain infrastructure, protocols, and bridging solutions, specifically around rollups, bridging, proof verification and data availability solutions that are fundamental to the Stackr ecosystem. In this critical role, you will leverage your deep expertise in smart contracts, blockchain technologies, and distributed systems to architect high-performance solutions that enable seamless interoperability between diverse blockchain networks.

Requirements

Technical Skills

5+ years of experience in smart contract development and decentralized protocols with core expertise in off-chain infrastructure, specifically L1 L2 interaction

• High Energy, self-managed, pro-active
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage complex technical projects
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for cryptographic research
• Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• A proactive and innovative mindset, demonstrating a willingness to explore and implement new technologies and methodologies
  
  
  

• Contributions to blockchain research or EIPs (Ethereum Improvement Proposals)
• Experience working with DeFi protocols and extending them
