Swipe has partnered with major payment networks to enable individuals access to a full fiat channel for card payments through its licensed partner in the EU. Our mission is to enable customers to create crypto-fiat card programs.  It connects millions of customers to link their fiat/crypto wallet to Visa/Mastercard Schemes for online/offline payment.  

As a FinTech start-up, Swipe is committed to complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements as we operate and expand our business globally. We are now looking for an intern to join and strengthen the Compliance/Risk Operation program. The successful candidate should be an individual who is familiar with and passionate about the FinTech industry and knowledgeable in developing and refining customized Compliance products and processes.

Responsibilities:

    • Be responsible for evaluating disputed credit card transactions
    • Investigate disputes, look for documentation of purchase, determine whether there was a fraud, and validate the chargeback if appropriate
    • Interact with consumers, as well as call center representatives and other business partners (Internal/External)
    • Resolve the product/service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem
    • Expedite correction or adjustment, and follow-up to ensure customer resolution

Requirements:

    • A fast learner who is currently enrolled in a college/university program
    • A strong sense of ownership, who can not only identify a problem but work with team members to execute a solution
    • Friendly and professional while dealing with upset consumers 
    • Well-developed analytical and decision-making skills to research credit and/or debit card disputes and make accurate and appropriate decisions based on findings
    • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
    • Familiar with both domestic and international rules and regulations related to chargebacks and adhering to those guidelines will be a great plus
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish/Portuguese is a must
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills are must-haves
    • Strong computer skills - including having solid knowledge of MS Office applications
