Web3 SDET / QA Engineer

The SDET / QA Engineer will be reporting into the Engineering Team. The Engineering Team aims to build a truly scalable platform with the most streamlined process for the trade journey for buyers and suppliers. The team is responsible for building and scaling the infrastructure of Trustana’s platform. The team also works on many different projects from e-commerce / marketplace platform, to ERP and high volume serverless event driven architecture approach.

Our current tech stack: Node.js, GraphQL, Postgres, Terraform, Python, Golang, React.JS, Angular, Typescript, Affinidi SSI & VC framework (blockchain)

Key Responsibilities

• Work on building a Quality driven engineering culture that helps ship products rapidly and with good confidence
• Spearhead efforts to improve our engineering team's test coverage, release velocity and production health
• You will create test plans, perform some manual tests, and write automated tests in JavaScript - E2E, Smoke, Regression, Performance and other types of tests.
• Be the intersection between engineering, product, and design
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in instrumenting their workflow to build a comprehensive picture of coverage and quality
• Plan, develop and execute test strategy across core Trustana products and platforms
• Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of product
• Implement and inspire a QA mindset within teams - be a proponent of “test early, test often” philosophy

Ideal Candidate Requirements

• You think about quality as a cultural mindset rather than a functional task
• You have Full Stack QA experience with a strong background in Test Automation, Cloud Native, BDD, Test Planning, and different types of testing.
• About 5 years of quality assurance and test engineering experience
• Extensive experience of Javascript based test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Mocha, Jest, Jasmine, Cucumber.js
• Experience with CI/CD and build pipelines
• Experience with Cloud-native build/test/deploy of a platform (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
• Experience with UI and API test automation (Advantageous if you have experience in mobile test automation)
• Hands-on experience with test planning, execution, performance testing and experience with architecting a test automation solution
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactively gives suggestions to improve product and processes
