As a Senior Content Designer, you will craft clear, trustworthy, and empowering content that simplifies complex financial services in the investment ecosystem (crypto and stocks), and enables financial inclusion across Latin America.

You will shape the voice, tone, and content strategy for our financial products, creating experiences that build trust and guide users through their financial journeys. Your mission is to transform complex financial concepts into clear, actionable language that resonates across diverse markets and literacy levels.

This role requires a Content Designer who can not only write exceptional content but also develop content strategies, drive cross-functional alignment, and navigate complex regulatory and localization requirements across multiple Latin American markets.

Who You Are 

Make sure you meet all of the following required qualifications to avoid an automatic rejection.

  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in content design, UX writing, or similar roles, with a strong portfolio showcasing strategic content work for digital products.
  • Fluency in English: Written and verbal communication skills in English are required to collaborate effectively with a diverse, international team.
  • Localization expertise: Proven experience creating content that works across multiple markets and languages. Understanding of Latin American markets (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil) is a strong plus. Knowing how to work with keys in Lokalise, and extra plus!
  • Design system expertise: Experience contributing to content design systems, voice and tone guidelines, and content pattern libraries. You should be comfortable establishing content standards and ensuring consistency at scale.
  • Technical skills:
    • Proficiency working in Figma and collaborating with product designers.
    • Experience using AI tools to enhance content creation, streamline workflows, and analyze content performance.
    • Ability to leverage AI for tasks like content variations, localization support, content audits, and pattern identification.

  • Data-driven approach: Strong understanding of how to use data and metrics to inform content decisions and measure content effectiveness (comprehension, task completion, error reduction, support ticket volume).
  • Regulatory & compliance knowledge: Experience creating content for regulated industries (fintech, financial services, healthcare) with understanding of compliance requirements and how to balance clarity with legal accuracy.
  • Research skills: Proven ability to conduct content research, usability testing, and readability assessments to validate content decisions.
  • Portfolio: Exceptional portfolio that highlights strategic content work, complex problem-solving, and measurable impact on user experience (please share a link to your portfolio with us).

What You Will Do 

  • Content strategy & leadership
    • Develop comprehensive content strategies for complex product areas and cross-product experiences.
    • Define voice and tone guidelines for new product areas, features, and user scenarios.
    • Plan content systems that scale across products, markets, and use cases (content models, taxonomies, templates).
    • Define content governance, including ownership, review processes, and quality standards.
  • Content creation & quality
    • Write clear, concise, and empowering content that balances brand personality with usability and user needs.
    • Adapt voice and tone strategically for different audiences (new vs experienced users, different markets, varying financial literacy levels).
    • Balance complex requirements (legal, regulatory, technical) with approachable, human, trustworthy language.
    • Establish content quality standards, review processes, and quality benchmarks for your domain.
  • Localization & market adaptation
    • Develop localization strategies for features across Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, and other English-speaking markets.
    • Determine appropriate localization approaches (translation vs transcreation vs local creation) based on content type and market needs.
    • Ensure content respects cultural norms, regulatory requirements, and market expectations across all regions.
    • Build collaborative relationships with regional stakeholders and localization teams.
  • Research & validation
    • Collaborate closely with the design research team to conduct content research and usability testing, validating content decisions, and identifying improvements.
    • Use qualitative and quantitative data to measure content effectiveness and iterate based on insights.
    • Audit content quality across products and identify systemic issues requiring improvement.
  • Cross-functional collaboration
    • Partner closely with product designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, and data scientists.
    • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure content meets all requirements.
    • Mentor other content creation areas on content strategy, voice and tone, and quality standards.
    • Contribute to the content design system and advocate for content design best practices.
  • AI-first content design
    • Leverage AI tools to generate content variations, improve efficiency, and explore creative directions.
    • Use AI to support localization workflows, content audits, and pattern identification.
    • Apply AI to analyze content performance and identify optimization opportunities.
    • Help build prompt libraries for content creation and localization efforts.
    • Stay current with AI capabilities and experiment with new tools to enhance content design practice.
