THE ROLE

Reporting directly to our VP, Finance & Business Strategy, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing complex financial models and reports to provide key insights into business leads, participate in the budget planning process across all departments and prepare financial and non-financial KPI reports and dashboards. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will deep dive into financial results and business data to influence important business decisions and work on various unique projects. This will require making business conclusions and recommendations through statistical analysis.

YOUR IMPACT

• Prepare and manage budget variance and forecasts, and KPI dashboards, across all departments, including actionable insights and notes to the executive team
• Develop complex financial models to evaluate performance of our existing products and future business opportunities, analyzing ROI and profitability to provide recommendations to the executive team
• Manage monthly data reporting process by analyzing trends and variances related to financial performance and other key business metrics
• Anticipate evolving financial performance and suggest improvements by providing in-depth analysis on the business’ KPIs and other trending factors
• Collaborate with the VP, Finance & Business Strategy to develop a profitability and cost model and budget planning and reports across all business units and present to department leaders on a monthly basis
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop and maintain accurate databases to monitor business performance, and provide management with insights into any risks or opportunities
• Analyze current economic, regulatory and cryptocurrency events, their impacts on the business, and how the business can succeed under given conditions
• Analyze and reconcile cash movement between Bitcoin ATM, Cash In Transit service and our Banks

THIS IS YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• You are currently pursuing or have obtained an accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
• Previous 3-5 years of finance or accounting experience with 1-2 years FP&A specific experience in a similar role
• Expert in MS excel and knowledge of MS Office suite and Google Suite
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Data Studio
• Working knowledge of statistical analysis processes and statistical packages
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen and attention to detail
• Motivated self-starter and with ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing business requirements
• Outstanding communication, reporting, and presentation skills
