Web3 Smart Contract Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join our team. You’ll have an opportunity to work across our entire Ethereum-based web3 stack on cutting-edge technology across a variety of projects and industries (Fashion, music, finance, healthcare....)

*This role is remote. Candidates in a CET timezone will be preferred.

The ideal candidate will be a driven, disciplined developer with excellent communication skills who is able to research and keep up to date with current trends and developments within the blockchain community. You will be able to self manage tasks, expectations and schedules in a remote environment.

What you'll be doing

As a senior developer, you will be required to take on an integral role in the creation and execution of our upcoming products.

• Smart Contracts: Implement designs with a focus on security, simplicity, ease of use, and gas-efficiency
• Software Development: Implement, test, and audit open-source software that is used to interact with on-chain smart contracts; plan to ship something new every two weeks
• Smart Contract Systems: write off-chain code to interact with and manage smart contracts. Thrive in an iterative and collaborative shipment environment
• You will be able to self manage tasks, expectations and schedules in a remote environment.
• Work with a team of developers to produce both the backend systems for a seamless user experience.

Skills

Below are the skills you need to have in order to qualify to apply, as well as a host of skills and experience that would make you an ideal candidate.

• 2+ years full-time experience in Engineering at a software or financial services technology organization
• 1+ years full-time experience working in solidity
• Demonstrated ability to learn new tech and write secure and high quality code
• Passion for blockchain technology, cryptonomic protocol design, game theory, and decentralized finance
• Our tech stack: Solidity, Javascript, Typescript, Node.js, web3, ethers, hardhat, React
