About the Position:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our social media team and work closely with the Director of Social Media to execute comprehensive social media strategies for our agency and clients. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the strategies crafted by the Director of Social Media, driving engagement, building brand awareness, and fostering meaningful connections with our online communities. This role requires a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, community management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Director of Social Media and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Execution:
    • Collaborate with the Director of Social Media to implement and execute social media strategies for our agency and clients, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and target audience insights.
    • Work closely with the Director to translate strategies into actionable plans and content calendars.

  • Content Creation and Curation:
    • Oversee the creation of compelling and high-quality social media content, including written posts, visuals, videos, and other multimedia assets.
    • Collaborate with the creative and content teams to develop captivating content that aligns with brand messaging and resonates with the audience.
  • Community Engagement and Management:
    • Actively collaborate with the Community Manager to monitor and manage our agency's and clients' social media communities, identifying comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and authentic manner.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive community environment, encouraging meaningful interactions and driving brand advocacy.
  • Social Media Advertising and Campaigns:
    • Support the Director of Social Media in planning and executing paid social media campaigns that complement organic strategies and meet campaign objectives.
    • Provide creative input and ensure consistent messaging across both organic and paid social media content.
  • Social Media Analytics and Insights:
    • Utilize social media analytics tools to track performance, measure key metrics, and derive valuable insights for continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Social Media to analyze data and identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, using data-driven insights to optimize social media strategies.
  • Social Media Trends and Industry Best Practices:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, updates, and best practices in social media marketing.
    • Share insights and industry trends with the Director of Social Media and contribute to the enhancement of social media strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or a similar role, with a track record of executing successful social media strategies.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and best practices for community management and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creating engaging and compelling social media content.
  • Ability to foster community engagement, build relationships with followers, and drive brand advocacy.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret social media metrics and data to optimize performance and inform strategy.
  • Proficiency in managing paid social media campaigns and collaborating with the Director of Social Media for integrated strategies.
  • Creative and innovative thinker, with the ability to execute the strategies crafted by the Director effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage social media content calendars and multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Passion for social media and staying at the forefront of industry developments.

Minimum Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in a marketing, communications, or social media management role, preferably with agency and web3 experience.
