Web3 Social Media Strategist

DataHubhttps://datahub.figment.io/ is a Web 3 platform for developers. Our goal is to help developers onboard on blockchain protocols and accelerate the adoption of those technologies. We also build courses and aggregate community written tutorials through the Figment Learn community.https://learn.figment.io/

As a Social Media Strategist at Figment, you will manage our online representation via social networks such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Telegram, Reddit, and more.You will also help create connections with media partners, news outlets, podcasts, live video, AMA’s and events, to help build our brand identity and content strategy.

You will work directly within our marketing & product teams to spread awareness and knowledge about Web 3, Staking, and our ecosystem of products.

This job is for a people person, someone who loves writing about crypto and cultivating partnerships. You will be leading the charge in managing our community voice and creating amazing connections for Web 3.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Can:

• Develop a social content and channel strategy
• Increase community engagement online & help curate our brand persona
• Work with a cross-functional team of product owners, events managers and developer relationship managers to develop the story for our online presence
• Break down and communicate technical topics that can be readily understood
• Memes!
• Execute a content calendar increasing engagement, providing suggestions on how to enhance over the long-term.
• Create and maintain relationships with blockchain and crypto influencers, taking ownership of social planning, social calendars, social reports and client communications
• Work closely with our protocol partners on content positioning, development and social media activation ideas
• Develop relationships with crypto and dev influencers and authors of content to promote the brand and relevant demographics
• Work closely with our Dev Relations, Product Evangelist team for insights into the product roadmap, dev sentiment and ideation
• Keeping up with social trends across the Web 3, developer and crypto industry as a whole to ensure strategies are relevant, up-to-date and will properly engage with audiences
• Creating weekly and monthly social media reports with tracking and analytics
• Analyze the effectiveness of our engagement and social media campaigns to share the next wave of activities
• Support Events and maintain active presence for engagement
