Web3 Third Party Risk Analyst

The Risk Management Team ❤️
As a Third Party Risk Analyst, you’ll join our Risk Management team to implement a third party risk strategy for MoonPay and its solutions, which are state of the art and secure, while always ensuring that user experience is the priority.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, inquisitive individual with a background in security & risk management, who is extremely strategic and enjoys solving problems. We are currently looking for candidates in the US / UK / EMEA / APAC regions.

What you’ll do 👀

• Establish and maintain a third party risk framework for MoonPay
• Integrate third party risk management processes into the organization
• Act as subject matter expert and core competency for third party risk management
• Lead security due diligence reviews over third party vendors to determine if implements security and control practices align with MoonPay’s standards and industry best practices
• Work with contract owners and third party vendors to document and track remediation plans for identified risks
• Monitor the security controls of MoonPay’s vendors to ensure they continue to meet security and regulatory compliance requirements

You should apply if ✅

• A passion for harnessing the power of digital currency and blockchain technology and services built on top of it.
• 3+ years experience at a financial institution, ideally in FinTech.
• 3+ years of experience with regulatory compliance in the finance industry (i.e. PCI DSS, DFS, GDPR etc.).
• 3+ years of experience in third party risk management.
• Knowledge of risk management and security controls and concepts, including identity and access management, network security, security architecture, business continuity, disaster recovery and best practices.
• Understanding of Cloud controls and environments, including AWS
• Ability to take lead on cross functional teams, to drive initiatives and improve internal processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Experience with SaaS solutions.
• Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
• Customer oriented in your approach.
• An innovative and creative mind looking to suggest new solutions to old problems.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages will be considered an asset.
• First-rate decision making skills, bias for action and sound judgement.
• Ability to maintain a strong operational focus with the capacity to manage time sensitive workflows across competing priorities.
• B.A./B.S. degree; quantitative or technical degree a plus.
