Web3 Video Game & Digital Assets Partnerships

Compensation: $100k - $120k

While Basketball Operations runs the league’s on-court activities, other departments manage relationships with television and digital media partners, develop marketing partnerships with some of the world’s most recognizable companies, oversee the licensing of NBA merchandise, and handle a wide range of responsibilities that drive the NBA’s success.

Position Summary:

This position will support various elements of the video game and digital asset team within the Global Partnerships and Media department at the NBA. responsibilities include the day-to-day management of video game, web3 and NFT partnerships, and league-wide collaboration to support the portfolio of partners.

Major Responsibility:

  • Management of the NBA's video game and digital asset partnerships, including the delivery of contractual obligations, financial management and overall day-to-day partnership operations
  • Execute partner-driven initiatives and programs that span product, marketing, media, and event activations
  • Manage the end-to-end approval processes for product development, including review of NBA IP and assets across the portfolio of partnerships
  • Provide end-to-end management of marketing approvals
  • Serve as a key contact for internal stakeholders to achieve partner objectives and integrate with league-wide priorities (e.g., DTC, Next Gen, PR, events, marketing, media, social responsibility, etc.)
  • Prepare meeting materials, meeting notes, presentations, recap materials and key client communications

Required Skills/Knowledge:
  • High competency level with Word, Excel, PowerPoint 4-5 years professional experience in relevant field (partnership management, brand management, gaming, licensing)
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills both internally and externally
  • Sharp eye for detail and high level of organization
  • Motivated go-getter with demonstrated ability to self-start
  • Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Staunch work ethic and team player
  • Enjoys fast paced and challenging work environment

Education:
  • Undergraduate degree (BA or BS) in Marketing, Business, Communications or related discipline

Salary Range:
  • $100,000 to $120,000 per year
