DESCRIPTION:
The Recruiter is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. Reporting to the HR Lead, the Recruiter will help build our growing team and leverage prior recruiting experience in a dynamic industry.
This is a rare invitation to join a small, highly professional entrepreneurial group, with the backing of the most established player in the fast-growing crypto space.
This position is based at Foundry HQ in Rochester, NY.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
We're looking for a full cycle Recruiter to help Foundry continue to grow quickly by working strategically to bring in top talent. You will own the recruiting process from sourcing and screening through the offer stage while working closely with hiring managers and the leadership team. Our recruiting team builds the foundation of our success by finding extraordinary people that share our vision. In this role you’ll find yourself partnering directly with organizational leaders to hire key business and industry hires that move the needle for the business. You’ll work closely with the existing team to help improve processes and identify new sourcing strategies. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Own the recruiting process from sourcing to offers for a variety of high-level positions across the company
- Develop strategies to meet hiring goals and work alongside hiring managers to align priorities and objectives
- Build a diverse pipeline of candidates using creative sourcing channels
- Drive the intake meeting, interview team kick-off & debrief process for candidates
- Plan out-of-the-box sourcing strategies to attract talent
- Ensure great candidate experience keeping candidates informed and well-prepared throughout the entire process
- Provide data-driven progress reports to hiring managers and senior leadership
- Build processes that will help the recruitment team scale its efforts for years to come.
ABOUT YOU:
- 5+ years’ experience in full-cycle recruiting
- Strong sourcing skills with a proven track of turning passive candidates into hires
- Experience leveraging niche channels to source candidates
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Experience with competitive tech markets, cryptocurrency industry knowledge a plus
- Experience using the recruiting tools: ATS systems (we use Greenhouse), LinkedIn, leveraging social media, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
