Heretic Ventures is seeking a Product Management Intern for an early stage generative AI consumer business that Heretic Ventures is launching and has raised funding for.

This is a unique opportunity to help reshape the consumer landscape and build a billion-dollar company from the ground up while deeply learning about AI and learning from a stable of powerful and experienced mentors and advisors. 

Heretic Ventures is a San Francisco-based venture studio ideating and launching new businesses in the creator economy, including those that capitalize on AI/ML technology. Heretic is run by Managing Partner Mariam Naficy, who founded and built the pioneering internet companies Minted and Eve.com. Heretic is backed by household names in Silicon Valley (investors and entrepreneurs), who act as the studio’s advisors both in selecting and in advising companies.

Job Description: Looking for a highly motivated, scrappy Product Management intern to join our AI product team. The role is great for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to build an industry defining venture. You’ll learn all about end-to-end product management from ideation to launched product, while playing a key role in quality assurance and bug tracking to ensure that our products meet our high standards.

Reporting to: Head of Product, AI

Ideal Starting Date: As soon as possible

Key responsibilities

    • Support market, competitive, and user research to inform product decisions
    • Take an active role in QA processes including testing our consumer application, documentation of findings, and tracking bugs and issues through to resolution
    • Participate in defining and prioritizing product features

Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or computer science with strong academic record
    • Availability of at least 20 hours per week
    • Strong attention to detail and management of multiple tasks to meet deadlines
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
    • Proficiency in Excel, Notion, and Google suite tools

Nice to have

    • Prior product management experience
    • Ability to work in our SF, Presidio office at least once a week
