Mysten Labs is looking for a Partner Marketing Lead to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will be working closely with the Mysten Business Development & Partnerships team to promote, amplify, and integrate external partners across Mysten marketing initiatives. You’ll be well-versed in utilizing marketing team collateral, resources, and communication channels to achieve partner goals. We are seeking a motivated professional, committed to a high standard of quality, who wants to make an impact as part of our collaborative and entrepreneurial team.
What You'll Do:
- Develop a clear understanding of Mysten Labs value props to partners (Brand + MarCom) and the pipeline / target categories (Business Development & Partnerships)
- Create toolbox of collateral by collaborating cross-functionally with Brand + MarCom team to launch playbooks, tactical support plans based on categories (e.g. gaming, NFTs, etc.), region, and metrics to measure impact (these will be defined by business objectives)
- Manage a portfolio of partners, provide coaching support to improve marketing capabilities, and routinely assess partner performance
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape and competitive dynamics
- Act as the main marketing point of contact for partner inquiries and questions, and work with internal teams to provide timely and accurate responses; own the day-to-day, tactical marketing relationships to serve the needs of strategic partners
- Work closely with Head of Marketing and BD & Partnerships team to ensure marketing activities complement BD strategy and pipeline
- Input into marketing strategy and planning process to ensure future content and campaigns can be adapted to external partners where possible
- Focus on maintaining overall partner engagement and interest; seek to measure and iterate the success of external partner launches, continuously learning and improving our approach
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably with partner, channel or platform ecosystems
- A strong personal interest in blockchain infrastructure and accelerating adoption of web3
- Proven experience in building and managing partner relations with key marketing stakeholders, preferably in gaming or entertainment
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex partnership agreements
- Understanding of marketing principles and experience developing and executing marketing campaigns
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with a global company and are excellent at executing across time zones and cultures
- Preferred experience with marketing tools like Notion, Asana, and Figma
- Team player that supports and works with internal and external teams and stakeholders
- Resourceful, persistent and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
