Mysten Labs is looking for a Product Marketing Lead to join our Brand + MarCom team. In this role, you will be working closely with the Mysten Product team to promote, amplify, and improve our product innovations and offerings. You’ll be well-versed in utilizing marketing team collateral, resources, and communications channels to achieve product go-to-market goals. Our Product Marketing Lead will be operating at the intersection of product and commercial, unlocking value across our product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
What You'll Do:
- Develop a clear understanding of Mysten Labs value props across Commerce & Apps product portfolio (Brand + MarCom) and key positioning with target audiences (Product)
- Create marketing collateral designed for technical dives into our products for developer communities as well as easily digestible materials suited for wider end-users; ability to create clear product narratives to serve different audience needs
- Support launch planning and orchestration of product release as well as ongoing marketing plans
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape and competitive dynamics
- Actively partner with Product Management, Business Development, and Brand + MarCom teams to develop new Commerce & Apps offerings, and evolve the future of these product services, technical advantages, implementation, and usage across product lifecycle.
- Ensure an always-on engine of content, paid ads, collaborations and campaigns to ensure our products are easily discoverable
- Work closely with Head of Marketing and Product team to ensure marketing activities complement product strategy and pipeline
- Input into marketing strategy and planning process to ensure future content and campaigns can be adapted to product portfolio where possible
- Minimum 5 years of delivering successful, holistic product marketing plans that can be tied to increased business revenue.
- A strong personal interest in blockchain infrastructure and accelerating adoption of web3.
- A strong foundation of looking through the lens of customer types to identify key opportunities and areas of focus.
- The ability to use consumer insights to develop segment-specific solutions and compelling value propositions to solve customer pain points.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Understanding of marketing principles and experience developing and executing marketing campaigns
- Ability to write impactful copy that communicates product messaging to users (particularly technical developers and builders) through various touch points including social, web, CRM, advertising and video
- Experience working with a global company and are excellent at executing across time zones and cultures
- Preferred experience with marketing tools like Notion, Asana, and Figma
- Resourceful, persistent and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
