Overview:
We are an innovative early-stage cryptocurrency startup looking for a dynamic and highly organized Chief of Staff to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the operational success of our company, allowing our founders to focus on engineering, product development, and design. The ideal candidate will possess an MBA, exhibit exceptional diligence and organizational skills, and have the ability to manage various business functions with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including HR, finance, administration, and compliance.
- Human Resources: Manage HR functions such as onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations using tools like Gusto.
- Financial Oversight: Develop and maintain financial models, manage budgets, work with accountants for tax filings, and track company spending and burn rate.
- Legal and Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact with legal counsel for contracts, compliance issues, and other legal matters.
- Fundraising Support: Assist in fundraising activities, including preparing documentation, managing investor relations, and supporting the CEO in pitching to investors.
- Administrative Support: Handle logistics for company events, book travel, and manage the company credit card.
- Communications and PR: Draft communications, manage public relations efforts, and support the CEO with written materials and external communications.
- Project Management: Take ownership of various projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support company growth.
Qualifications:
- MBA.
- 1-5 years of experience in a startup or high-growth environment, preferably in the tech or crypto industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with financial modeling, HR systems (e.g., Gusto), and legal compliance is a plus.
- A go-getter attitude with the ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
