Seedify Meta Studios is looking for a talented, creative, and collaborative Game Designer (MMO) to join our core team developing one of the most unique Metaverse project, themed after Steampunk. The ideal candidate will focus on creating engaging content and game ideas, environments, and systems that will entertain gamers around the world.
Responsibilities
· Write clear and concise design documents
· Collaborate with developers and artists
· Develop strong gameplay mechanics, following the game’s creative vision;
· Prototype and iterate on core game mechanics to make the product’s vision come true;
· Define all the elements of the game (characters /enemies, interactive objects, menus) and the different types of interactions possible between these elements (game system);
· Create design documents to articulate the most important pillars and aspects of the gameplay experience
Skills and requirements:
· Education in game design or related field
· 5+ years of experience with game design
· Worked in an MMO or played MMOs extensively
· Extensive knowledge of game mechanics;
· Ability to come up with suitable game mechanics that fall in line with the game’s lore;
· Iterate designs to create a great gameplay experience;
· Ensure design works well with the custom blockchain
· Ability to both conceptualize, analyze and implement game ideas using various tools and technology;
· Knowledge of image editing (mocking up) tools is a plus;
· Excellent knowledge of game edition’s tools is a plus;
· Understanding of the systems that drive progression in MMOs/RPGs
· Shipped at least one game successfully
· Ability to work well structured
· Understanding of game flow, engagement, pacing and player retention.
· Excellent video game culture and knowledge of games;
· High level of creativity;
· Proactively find problems with the gameplay and come up with solutions.
· Great team player
