That means you have the opportunity to define how we do finance at a rapidly growing web3 company. You will be responsible for implementing controls, creating efficient processes, standardizing accounting, and building a world-class finance function. You will:

Be responsible for all accounting functions and financial reporting Own the month end close process ensuring it’s done timely, efficiently, and accurately (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) Own the forecast/financial model  Continuously improve and implement internal controls over financial transactions and financial reporting to ensure financial integrity  Provide insights and analysis to leadership team on financial performance and health of the business Manage external vendors who support with bookkeeping Manage and coordinate the preparation of tax filings Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP)

You are:

5+ years of overall accounting experience in a senior position Proven working experience as a Financial Controller or Assistant Controller CA and/or CPA designation and Bachelors Degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration Exceptionally strong attention to detail and highly analytical Deeply experienced with the nuances of crypto-focused accounting  Based in Toronto, Canada Excited about web3/crypto

Bonus points for:

CFA or MBA designations Start up experience Tax experience  Familiarity with Integral (Crypto Accounting Software Tool) and Quickbooks Online

Compensation

Base Salary Range of $140,000-$160,000 CAD Generous Equity & Benefits Package
