Robinhood Crypto is expanding and hiring a Web engineer. The Crypto Trading teamâÂÂs mission is to design, build, and maintain services that power and accelerate our crypto products, platforms, and operations, with the goal of building the worldâÂÂs best crypto trading platform.
As a Senior Web Engineer, you will have a highly visible and impactful role at a relatively small company, directly making an impact on the web crypto trading user experience that supports our core functions.
What youâÂÂll do
- Create high-quality, performant products that leverage technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS
- Own and drive features from inception and design to implementation and launch, being the web expert on your team
- Build and improve tools to support Robinhood's operations and platforms, providing leverage across the company
- Collaborate with design and product experts to rapidly iterate and ship financial products
- Build frameworks and abstractions to materially accelerate and empower other developers
What you bring
- 5+ years of full-time professional experience with modern Web standards, technologies, and frameworks
- Skilled at writing and efficiently debugging JavaScript in Node and browser environments
- Obsessed with building a best-in-class developer experience
- Have a track record of successfully leading projects and delivering large scope technical projects at scale
- Constantly setting a high standard for code quality, advocating for best practices in testing, and improving code review processes

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and RobinhoodâÂÂs equity plan.
