Avaneer Health is looking for a Blockchain Architect to help design and build innovative software solutions to solve big problems in healthcare. The primary responsibilities for this role include working closely with teams of software engineers and making architectural and engineering decisions using blockchain technologies in the development of the Avaneer Network solution. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the US.
Job Responsibilities

• Document and clearly communicate architectural decisions to guide software engineering teams
• Collaborate and guide software engineers in implementing architectural decisions related to our use of blockchain technologies
• Provide guidance in the infrastructure deployment and operation of enterprise blockchain solutions like Hyperledger Fabric
• Lead the design and implementation of smart contract based solutions
• Evaluate new blockchain-related technologies and implement proof-of-concept projects
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging of problems as they arise
• Ensure that non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, etc.) are captured and addressed through thoughtful blockchain architecture design

• 5-7 years of experience in a senior software engineering or software architect role
• 2-3 years of experience with blockchain or distributed ledger technologies like Hyperledger Fabric or Ethereum
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Clear and coherent written communication skills, including visual representations of data
• Experience using smart contract frameworks like Solidity or languages like Go
• Extensive understanding of blockchain fundamentals and patterns
• Proficient in the application of cryptography in blockchain
• Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing large enterprise blockchain solutions

• Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum
