Blockchain Game Marketing Director

AlterVerse Inc. is looking for a Marketing Director with a focus on the video game industry. The right person will be someone who has experience working in the games industry, and ideally has experience in user acquisition, creating and managing ad campaigns, and helping create, plan, and execute events (digital and physical). This will be a commission based position to start.

Specific responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Product branding, positioning and overall marketing strategies, including future subscription services, games sales and influencer outreach.
2. Social Media and Marketing Strategy.
3. Community Management.
4. Weekly Social Media Content Calendar.
5. Weekly Email Newsletters.
6. Blogs and Content.
7. Strategies for A/B testing.
8. Main marketing areas include our websites, Steam, Discord, Telegram, FB,Twitter, and offline activities such as partner/creator outreach, retail, and event strategies.
9. Drive the product marketing strategy, from the design and creative process to implementation across all touch-points, including ongoing management of campaigns, experimentation, and promotions and optimization based on analysis.
10. Partner with team to develop campaign strategies that drive new player purchases.
11. Regularly present and report to team managers, stakeholders, and leadership, on marketing strategies, plans and findings.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in sales and marketing in Gaming or Gaming-related field.
Knowledge of PC gaming space, game models, and business models
You will be willing and able to get on the game via your PC in order to
capture effective screenshots for social media promotions.
Familiar with growing Discord, Telegram and Steam groups.
Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
Experience creating and implementing marketing campaigns including CPA, CPC, CPI, display, brand, etc.
Knowledge and experience managing ads on the popular platforms (Reddit, Twitter, Gleam etc.)
Knowledge and experience in Photoshop and other design software to be able to create or modify existing ads or assets
Creative writing skills.
Familiarity with the blockchain space also a plus.
