As the Chief of Staff at Shibuya, you will be a key strategic partner to CEO Emily Yang (NFT artist pplpleasr) to build operational efficiencies, enhance team effectiveness, and drive mission-aligned initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Operations: Directly partner with Emily and the leadership team to scope, prioritize, and execute projects and initiatives. (ex. product go-to-market strategy, project scoping framework, key hiring efforts)
2. Program & Project Management: Oversee team projects to track progress, build accountability, mitigate roadblocks, and guide organizational direction. (ex. goals alignment and tracking, milestone assessment and evaluation)
3. Team Effectiveness: Streamline workflows and processes to empower the team to work more effectively, efficiently, and productively. (ex. strategic leadership offsites and team meetings, regular communication channels, people & culture initiatives)
4. Special Projects: Provide recommendations that inform, guide, and shape company decisions. Lead and own initiatives ranging from ad-hoc asks to critical projects. (ex. partner discussions, external comms & public relations)

Preferred Qualifications

• Has a clear grasp of and passion for Shibuya’s mission and vision
• Curious, eager to learn, and capable of thriving in an ambiguous environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Project management experience and ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
• Fundamental understanding of the web3, blockchain technology, and/or NFTs
• Excited about pushing boundaries around community-driven content creation
