Web3 Compliance Analyst

The Risk Management Team ❤️
As a Compliance Analyst, you’ll join our Risk Management team to ensure MoonPay and its solutions, which are state of the art and secure, maintain compliance while always ensuring that user experience is the priority.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, inquisitive individual with a background in security & compliance, who is extremely strategic and enjoys solving problems. We are currently looking for candidates in the US / UK / EMEA / APAC regions.

What you’ll do 👀

• Develop and manage MoonPay’s security compliance roadmap.
• Document and continuously improve processes and procedures.
• Conduct compliance reviews and analysis to support MoonPay’s regulatory compliance policies and programs.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop key performance indicators and objectives.
• Work closely with stakeholders including IT, Security, and Risk Management departments to define and execute strategic goals, communicate security best practices, and ensure controls meet MoonPay’s standards and industry regulations.
• Report the security compliance posture to senior stakeholders.
• Always put the end user first!.

You should apply if ✅

• A passion for harnessing the power of digital currency and blockchain technology and services built on top of it.
• 3+ years experience at a financial institution, ideally in FinTech.
• 3+ years of experience with regulatory compliance in the finance industry (i.e. PCI DSS, DFS, GDPR etc.).
• 3+ years of experience leading compliance initiatives from inception to implementation.
• Experience with auditing security frameworks including SOC 1, SOC 3, SOX, PCI, and ISO27001.
• Experience working with auditors and/or external regulators.
• Experience reporting security compliance posture to senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Experience representing data in graphical forms.
• Experience with SaaS solutions.
• Ability to take lead on cross functional teams, to drive initiatives and improve internal processes.
• Able to work well independently or as part of a team.
• Customer oriented in your approach.
• An innovative and creative mind looking to suggest new solutions to old problems.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages will be considered an asset.
• First-rate decision making skills, bias for action and sound judgement.
• Ability to maintain a strong operational focus with the capacity to manage time sensitive workflows across competing priorities.
• B.A./B.S. degree; quantitative or technical degree a plus.
