Web3 Data Analyst

Leading-edge gaming studio looking for a data analyst with good technical skills, excellent researching capabilities, a passion for MMORPGs, blockchain technology & relentless pursuit for growth, to join our fast-growing team.

We are developing Ember Sword, a ground breaking platform-agnostic and Free-to-Play MMORPG set in a player-driven fantasy universe, with digital collectible cosmetics and a blockchain-enhanced economy.

It’s a universe where the players control the world through true land ownership. A game where all valuable cosmetic items are tokenized as scarce non-fungible crypto-collectibles that are acquired by players through gameplay objectives, instead of sold through loot boxes. With a fan community spanning more than a hundred thousand people, a strong advisory board, a $2M investment round this year, and a very successful first land sale campaign ($1.5M) that sold out in just a few hours, Ember Sword is aiming high and growing fast.
You will be joining our business development team and working closely with partnerships & regions, as well as marketing to uncover trends & market insights that will determine how we approach new markets and industries.

As a data analyst at Bright Star Studios, you'll be monitoring internal performance and collecting external data. Using your intuitive data-driven mindset you will be translating that data into actionable insights which will guide business development and partnerships & regions efforts going forward. Your data findings will help determine the long-term business goals of Ember Sword.

The MUST's

- You have world-class "Google-fu" in finding data from all areas of the game, digital, and technology industries. You relish in the challenge of finding obscure information

- You can create dashboards from APIs, including, but not limited to Discord, Google analytics, Twitter, YT, etc. And creating ways to combine these metrics to spot trends and insights we can use for business development and future strategy

- You can filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

- You understand how to visualize data in a way that people can comprehend

-You are able to collect data from our Discord and secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

- You are willing to relocate to Denmark, Copenhagen or able to convince us that you won't have to



The GOOD TO HAVE's

- You have a "natural" instinct for research and when complimented for finding often very “hard to find info” don't understand the fuss because to you it is "obvious"

- 3+ years of experience in the industry – we’re open-minded and would gladly talk to enthusiastic applicants with varying levels of experience

- Genuine love for MMOs and/or RPGs

- Experience in shipping a game on PC/Browser or with a team that did it

- Knowledge in Blockchain and Crypto

- You can interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

- Ember Sword is developed using our own custom game engine

- We have a very agile approach to development, with a flat hierarchy

- Job starts right away (as soon as possible)

- This is a full-time position

- The work hours are flexible

- Your place of work will be in Copenhagen, Denmark
