It is important that you are highly communicative, like to discuss code, conduct research and share (discuss) tools and design patterns. You should also be happy/comfortable working independently but also asking questions, challenging the status quo, checking in regularly, sharing ideas for implementations and have a general excitement about the DeFi space and programming.
We are interested in your technical abilities, such as ....

- Experience with data storage/indexing solutions (e.g. Postgres, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, ...)
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD workflows

You’ll be able to (and are encouraged to) take ownership of and shape the technology stack for building the required data pipelines. Choosing the right tools will be part of your job and is strongly encouraged (the mentioned software products are merely examples).

Experience with blockchain technologies and the Ethereum blockchain in particular, and previous exposure to DeFi.
Having significant experience with these is not a requirement. However, you should know what you are getting into by working with us. Understanding the Ethereum blockchain and the technical challenges evolving around acquiring / extracting and processing data from the blockchain will be an integral part of your daily work. We want you to grow equally passionate about the DeFi space as the rest of the team. We are happy to teach you the basics, answer your questions and help you grow your knowledge in these areas but ultimately expect you to engulf yourself in the space.
