Web3 Foreign Exchange Operations Analyst

Edgewater Markets, an industry leader in Electronic FX liquidity & distribution to global institutional clients, seeks an operations analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for confirmation of transactions, assist in the running of our back office. Ideally the target candidates will be those who can seamlessly integrate with an existing team & who can “hit the ground running”.
The position would suit a highly organized & efficient person looking for an opportunity in the financial sector to gain exposure to the day-to-day workings of an FX Asset Management company. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent time-management skills & an ability to work under pressure. Edgewater Markets is a high growth technology and financial services firm in the midst of a large expansion globally.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide input into the day-to-day operations of the operations team & accompanying processes when warranted
• FX processing: run events, review cash entries & SWIFT messages
• Responsible for reconciliation of transactions
• Updates & maintains customer reporting
• Researches & resolves technical support & trade inquiries
• Provides high quality work by ensuring accuracy & ability to deliver change initiatives efficiently
• Daily cash management reconciliation
• Daily trade & position confirmation & reconciliation
• Maintenance of Edgewater Systems
• Assist sales team in supporting our global clients
• Trade Input

Requirements, Skills & Experience

• An understanding of Institutional FX Markets & CLS a plus
• Ability to acclimate & become knowledgeable on the firm’s core product offering
• Maintain a strong focus on customer support
• Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
• Casual work environment within an entrepreneurial culture
• College graduate, business or finance a must
• Analytical thinking & problem-solving ability
• Decision making, accountability
• Ability to work without close supervision
• An understanding of the fundamentals of risk, control assessments & protocols a plus
• Ability to quickly adapt to new systems & develop appropriate procedures
• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Required)
