Web3 Founding Product Manager, Wallet

SuperLayer is a crypto venture studio led by Kevin Chou and Mahesh Vellanki, who between them have launched multiple successful gaming and crypto companies including Kabam (free-to-play games, exited for ~$1B), GenG (esports), Forte (blockchain for gaming, >$1B latest valuation) and Rally.io (creator coins, >$5B total market cap). SuperLayer builds tokenized consumer businesses, supercharging their development with crypto technology and expertise from Rally and Forte that can take a typical 2-3 year build and instead launch new businesses in 4-6 months. We develop concepts internally, recruit world-class founding PMs to lead the product, fund the early development until public launch and then help raise venture capital from leading investors in the space.

We are seeking a Founding Product Manager to found a new company focused on building a consumer friendly non-custodial wallet geared towards web3 social applications. You will collaborate with SuperLayer leadership and leverage our resources and expertise to bring the product to market. The ideal candidate has built and launched a wallet, has founder experience, has a deep understanding of go-to-market strategies, and is excited to build with SuperLayer.

REQUIREMENTS

In this role you will…

• Serve in a dual role as Head of Product and General Manager of the early-stage startup building from zero to one and leveraging SuperLayer’s technology platform
  
• Work closely with the SuperLayer leadership team to align on a vision for a tokenized consumer application and drive overall product strategy
• Convert this product strategy into a prioritized product and business roadmap, partnering with Engineering, Design and Business Teams to drive execution through MVP launch and beyond
• Communicate progress and other items of importance to SuperLayer leadership and key stakeholders
• Solve organizational needs by either recruiting world class talent or partnering with in-house SuperLayer resources
• Partner with other Founding Product Managers to share expertise and advise on approaches that can facilitate the rapid development and scaling of all projects

To be a good fit for us, you have...

• 2+ years of experience with product development of a cryptocurrency wallet product
• 7+ years of experience leading and managing the Product function for high growth applications
• Strong portfolio of shipped products that show a data-driven and analytical approach to strategy and decision making
• Experience working closely with go-to-market teams and ensuring the success of product launches with end users
• Compelling communication and storytelling expertise along with strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• The ability to weave complex technologies and business models into compelling and even magical experiences for end users
• Previous founder experience is a huge plus
