Web3 Functional QA

Applied Blockchain is an innovative applications development company, focusing on distributed ledger technology and smart contracts. Based in London at Level39 Canary Wharf and in Batalha, Porto, Applied Blockchain has an expert team of blockchain developers creating cutting-edge solutions for disruptive startups and corporate clients in banking and finance, e-payments, energy trading, aviation, telecommunications and social impact sectors. We are building a new generation of decentralised applications, working through some of the most interesting problems in this field such as KYC, identity management, transactions anonymity, encryption, and data security.

What you’ll be doing

• Create test plans, scenarios, and test cases according to project specifications / User Stories.
• Analyse, understand, and review the products’ functional and non-functional requirements and identify gaps and inconsistencies.
• Execute defined test cases (manually or automated) and analyse the results.
• Ensure the quality of the solution being delivered is up to expectations of all stakeholders.
• Report and manage existing defects, ensuring proper follow-up and actions are being taken by the team.
• Promote and adopt QA best practices, contributing to their continuous improvement.
• Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team, in consultation with scrum masters, project managers, and developers.

Required skills & experience

• 2 or more years of experience as a Functional QA.
• JIRA/Zube knowledge
• Context-switching between projects
• Postman

Nice to have

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Blockchain experience and knowledge is a plus.
