RECUR is hiring a Web3 Group Product Manager

RECUR is a technology company that designs & develops dedicated branded experiences that allow fans to buy, collect, and re-sell digital products and collectibles (NFTs). RECUR is the only blockchain-agnostic NFT platform ultimately giving its brand partners the widest range of distribution and their fan bases the widest range of utility. RECUR also co-authored the recurring royalty standard for NFTs, allowing for creators, artists, athletes, and brands to participate in the secondary sales of their assets in perpetuity.
The Product Management team is looking for a Group Product Manager to lead a team of Product Managers, Program Managers, and Product Operators. This candidate will be responsible for day-to-day communication with Product, Engineering, and Design leaders, peers, and direct reports, the unblocking and assisting of your direct reports, and maintaining strong documentation of all workloads, research artifacts and analysis to support your team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team, where you will work with some of the largest brands in the world on innovative, creative projects in the nascent and growing NFT space.
What you will do at RECUR
- Define and execute on our consumer product strategy in collaboration with our engineering, product design, and gaming teams
- Manage, coach and mentor your direct reports
- Serve as a cross-functional leader by establishing shared vision across our Studio, Sports, and Collectibles divisions and building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
- Help us take our user experiences to the next level across discoverability, social, e-commerce, gaming and other domains through strong design thinking, customer interviews, and data analysis
- Evaluate the impact and effort of new product ideas and work with our Director of Product Management and engineering managers to plan upcoming sprints
- Create thoroughly researched and scoped PRDs that serve as the reference for developers, designers, and product marketers to build from
- Pursue product growth opportunities with mindfulness towards fraud risk, legal, and regulatory requirements
What you bring to RECUR
- 6+ years of Product Management experience managing technical software products that are consumer-facing
- Proven experience as an individual contributor as well as a manager to other PMs
- Strong attention to detail which you use to lead the product development lifecycle end-to-end from feature conception to go-to-market
- Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to distill complex concepts down to clear product requirements, user stories, and documentation
- Able to excel within a growth-stage startup environment and comfortably navigate uncertainty
- Ability to work with senior engineering management with technical fluency in order to evaluate engineering design decisions, trade-offs, and scope
- Excellent analytical skills and comfortable working with data and data tools (SQL is a big plus)
- Proficiency with Jira
- An interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFTs
