Adidas is hiring a Web3 HEAD OF COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
Location: Amsterdam
PURPOSE
Join the adidas Web3 studio driving our community engagement and activation. This role is responsible for the execution of Web3 community activities, programs and projects across the Open Metaverse. You’ll lead and represent the best of adidas spanning sport and lifestyle across all verses, lands, community touchpoints, platforms and new media. You’ll help to grow a credible community, onboard and retain token holders and create shared- value for the most valuable membership program in the world – adidas Into the Metaverse.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Defining the most effective strategy across established and emerging social platforms and owned touchpoints to recruit and engage community members
- Deploying various digital tactics to increase awareness, drive traffic to social media touchpoints, and encourage potential customers to engage in Discord channels
- Being the guardian of our voice as a brand, as expressed through our team members, mods and Indigo Herz – our Board Ape mascot
- Overseeing and approving the publication of planned and reactive communication in community channels
- Driving engagement frequency and depth in community channels through the establishment of rituals and rhythms

- Global Digital and Brand organization (incl. SVP/VP level)
- Hype & Confirmed Teams
- Community Management Team (Discord)
- Social & PR & Newsrooms
- Tech integration Team
- Partnership Team
- Group functions (IT, Finance, Legal)
- External partners, vendors & agencies
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Marketing / Communication and project management in a cross functional set up (ideally 3 years in a Digital and/or Commercial area)
- University degree in Marketing or Business Administration (Master degree preferred)
- Community Management experience at Web3/ NFT project, a gaming company or a large community using Discord, Twitter, Instagram, Medium
- Experience in establishing and participating in DAOs preferred
- Expert writing skills to cultivate and manage an active community
BONUS POINTS FOR
- Preferable working experience in the sports or clothing industry
- Preferable cross-cultural, global experience outside of home country
