This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital safety, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong analytical mindset. Investigate suspicious account activity by analyzing login records, device/IP history, transaction data, and linked cards. Perform detailed account security reviews upon request, checking duplicate accounts, past support tickets, and data from internal tools. Identify and report phishing websites, fraudulent domains, and impersonating social media profiles. Escalate serious incidents—such as compromised wallets or custodial fund theft—to Compliance, Prime, or Legal teams as appropriate. Ensure consistent documentation and case tracking. Maintain detailed user notes to support team collaboration, case handovers, and audit readiness. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including DPO, Legal, and Prime teams, especially for urgent case handling and investigations.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a security-focused environment. 2+ years of experience in security operations, trust & safety, risk analysis, or fraud investigation (ideally in fintech or a tech startup). Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for suspicious behavior patterns and anomalies. Experience working with tools like Sift, Sardine, or similar fraud detection/monitoring platforms. Excellent written communication skills—ability to clearly document investigations and write actionable internal notes. A strong sense of ownership and accountability when handling sensitive or urgent cases. Comfortable working cross-functionally and escalating appropriately when needed. Bonus: Experience working in crypto, DeFi, or digital wallets.
