Let’s go!  Your Mission As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be a cornerstone of Bitpanda’s Quality Engineering team, serving as a strategic partner in ensuring the resilience, security, and world-class performance of our financial ecosystem. You won't just find bugs; you will architect quality frameworks and champion a culture of excellence that enables us to scale safely for millions of users across Europe. What You’ll Do

Lead the design and execution of high-level test strategies for complex mobile and web environments. You will oversee end-to-end testing lifecycles, integrating advanced exploratory testing with rigorous regression and smoke suites.

Perform manual (new feature testing, regression, exploratory, non-functional) testing.

Utilize deep expertise in tools like Postman, Android Studio, and Xcode to debug complex architectural issues and validate high-stakes financial integrations.

Partner with Product Managers and Designers during the discovery phase to identify edge cases and technical risks before a single line of code is written.

Beyond just tracking bugs in Jira, you will analyze defect trends to identify systemic weaknesses and work with Engineering Leads to implement long-term preventative measures.

Drive the "Shift-Left" philosophy by embedding quality benchmarks early in the sprint cycle, ensuring that "Definition of Ready" and "Definition of Done" are strictly upheld across squads.

Who You Are

Over three years of experience in manual QA testing of web and/or mobile applications.

Significant experience in high-growth mobile and web environments, ideally within Fintech or highly regulated industries.

Mastery of tools like Postman, JIRA/Xray, Android Studio, and Xcode is essential. You should be comfortable navigating logs, proxying traffic, and inspecting databases.

You can translate technical risks into business impact for stakeholders and provide constructive, high-level feedback to developers.

You thrive in fast-paced, multicultural environments and are comfortable navigating ambiguity to deliver stable, secure products.
