Web3 Head of Operations

Location: Remote | Type: Full-time

Momentum is the leading liquidity engine in the Move ecosystem, powering the first multi-chain ve(3,3) DEX and the top DEX on Sui. As we scale globally, we’re looking for an experienced and execution-focused Head of Operations to drive systems, compliance, exchange partnerships, and backend operational efficiency from pre-TGE through post-TGE phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute operational systems that scale with the demands of a high-growth DeFi protocol across multiple verticals: DEX, multisig, launchpad, and treasury tools.
  
  
  
• Lead the operational lifecycle of the project through pre-TGE, TGE, and post-TGE stages—including token contracts, exchange listings (CEX & DEX), vesting logistics, and compliance requirements.
  
  
  
• Manage all legal and compliance workflows: token and equity contracts, NDAs, partnership agreements, vendor terms, regulatory reviews, and exchange onboarding paperwork.
  
  
  
• Oversee financial operations, including accounting systems, protocol revenue tracking, budgeting, and investor distributions.
  
  
  
• Lead treasury management strategy and execution, including fund flows, multisig operations, reporting, and liquidity provisioning oversight.
  
  
  
• Work closely with legal counsel, finance teams, and product leads to ensure all activities are executed efficiently, legally, and in alignment with our growth roadmap.
  
  
  
• Develop and manage external agency/vendor relationships in areas such as legal, compliance, audit, and accounting.
  
  
  
• Support token sale mechanics, ensuring smooth handover between marketing, legal, and tech teams during product launch cycles.
  
  
  
• Build internal systems and SOPs to reduce bottlenecks, improve cross-functional visibility, and support rapid decision-making across the org.
  
  
  
• Track and optimize operational KPIs to drive accountability and performance across teams.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in operations or legal/finance leadership roles at Web3/blockchain companies.
  
  
• Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of a crypto project from pre-TGE through post-TGE stages.
• Strong understanding of tokenomics and CEX listing processes
  
  
• Strong understanding of and DeFi ecosystems and how to bring and retain liquidity.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with treasury management 
• Experience negotiating and managing contracts,  legal compliance with regulators and CEXs.
  
  
• Familiarity with Web3-specific accounting workflows and treasury management tools.
  
  
• Excellent organizational and project management skills—able to keep complex initiatives on track across legal, technical, and business domains.
  
  
• Comfortable working with distributed teams and async-first environments.
  
  
• Experience in the Move ecosystem on chains like Sui or Aptos is a strong plus.
