Web3 Research Analyst

The Open Network Foundation supports initiatives that further the mission of The Open Network (TON) – to put crypto in every pocket. By providing a decentralized ecosystem, we aim to foster growth and adoption across the crypto landscape.

We are looking for a Research Analyst to dive deep into the world of blockchain data, with a focus on DeFi dApps and emerging projects. This role is pivotal in shaping our understanding of on-chain trends and providing critical insights that will guide TON's strategic direction.

Responsibilities:

• On-Chain Data Analysis: Conduct thorough research, investigations, and estimations using on-chain data to uncover meaningful patterns and insights that inform TON's strategies.
• Report Preparation: Create comprehensive reports, ensure data quality, and perform in-depth analysis on the internal mechanics of decentralized applications (mostly DeFi).
• Trending dApps Research: Monitor and analyze the most popular blockchains, focusing on the performance and trends of their decentralized applications and projects.
• Data Validation: Perform data validation checks and ensure all insights are accurate and actionable for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to identify patterns and extract valuable insights from large datasets.
• Presentation Skills: Proficient in delivering compelling presentations that effectively communicate research findings.
• Advanced SQL: Strong command of SQL to query and manipulate on-chain data.
• Blockchain Knowledge: Solid understanding of blockchain architecture.
• BI Tools Expertise: Experience using public data analytics tools such as Dune, Flipside, CryptoQuant, and other blockchain-focused platforms.

Bonus Points for:

• Familiarity with top blockchain ecosystems and a passion for staying updated on emerging DeFi trends.
• Experience contributing to blockchain research reports or data-driven analysis in a crypto-focused environment.
• Strong presence in crypto communities or involvement in data analysis-related blogs or social media discussions.
